The A2RL Drone Championship challenges elite AI and robotics teams to develop fully autonomous drones capable of navigating complex aerial tracks at extreme speeds without human control. Combining FPV-inspired competition with advanced AI flight systems, the initiative accelerates innovation in aerial autonomy, robotics, perception, and real-world autonomous navigation

TUM emerges victorious at ASPIRE's inaugural Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL), securing a dramatic last-lap overtake. Over 10,000 spectators and 600,000 online viewers witnessed history as eight AI- powered cars battled for a $2.25M prize pot.
